Their team of experienced veterinary surgeons is led by Mr Ian Nicholson BVSc CertSAS DipECVS MRCVS and Mr Matthew Twitchett BVSc MSc MRCVS, who are both Directors of the practice. They are supported by Mr Jean Bugarin Venegas MRCVS, who is equally passionate about animal welfare and providing excellent medical care.

The veterinary practice’s team of skilled and dedicated veterinary nurses is led by Miss Alison Smith RVN, who is the Head Nurse at Island VetCare. She is assisted by Miss Courtney Fineran RVN, who is a valued member of the team and provides warmth and comfort to all their patients during their veterinary visits.

Island VetCare caters to the healthcare needs of both cats and dogs, and its highly competent team of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are committed to delivering the best possible care to animals. They have a range of facilities to ensure that they can provide optimal treatment, including being open at weekends, offering client car parking, and providing disabled public access.

The veterinary practice offers a range of services consisting of routine check-ups, preventative healthcare, vaccinations, consultations, and more. Island VetCare is conveniently located in Ryde, making it easily accessible to pet owners in the surrounding areas. They offer excellent availability; working from 8:30 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 12 pm on Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays to provide a much-needed rest day for their hard-working team.
