Welcome to Companion Care, the leading veterinary practice located in the beautiful town of Ashford, Kent. Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons and nurses have been providing high-quality care for all kinds of pets since the establishment of our practice. We understand how important your pets are, and we are committed to ensuring that they receive nothing but the best attention around the clock.

Our clinic is open seven days a week, with varying working hours on each day. We are available for appointments from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays, and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays. On Sunday, our clinic opens at 10:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm. This means that you can visit us during the weekend if your pets require any treatment.

Our veterinarians and nurses are highly qualified professionals, all of whom are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). We prioritise continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest treatment options and provide the highest level of care possible. Our team of vets work closely together, cross-referencing cases to ensure all pets receive the best possible care. Our facilities include disabled access and a car park, making it easier for you to get here with your pet.

At Companion Care, we cater to a wide range of species, including birds, cats, dogs, exotic, wildlife, poultry and small mammals. Our veterinary surgeons have a broad range of special interests, ensuring we can provide treatment for a wide range of conditions. From routine check-ups to complex surgeries, we are here to provide comfortable and efficient treatments to help your pets live healthy lives.

Our team is led by the knowledgeable and respected director, Mr Cormac Higgins. He is supported by an excellent team of veterinary nurses, including Miss Jessica Button, Miss Elizabeth Clare, Mrs Victoria Duffy, Mrs Jasmine Fisher, and Miss Lauren Godden. Our veterinary nurses provide advice and support for all aspects of pet care, including nutrition, behaviour, and general well-being. Mrs Victoria Duffy simply makes sure our practice runs smoothly in her role as Practice Manager.
